History

-      1949 – Establishment of the company by Jos Verachtert

-      1959 – First extension – construction of a silkscreen print shop – creation of the
       brand Vervaco

-      1960 – First employee

-      1972 – Jos Verachtert passes away

-      1988 – The Verachtert representatives are the first to be provided with laptop
       computers for order placement, which results in flawless product delivery

-      1997 – Transfer of the production activities to Tunisia

-      1997 – Extension of the establishment in Geel – additional office spaces and
       storage facilities – total surface of 7,100 m²

-      1999 – Transfer of production activities to company-owned new buildings

-      2001 – Extension of the establishment in Tunisia to 7,000 m²

-      2000 – Recruitment of a representative for the Netherlands

-      2006 – Presentation of the Verdeco line - Blinds

-      2009 – Take-over by R&H Holding

-      2010 – Recruitment of a representative for France, mainly for Patchwork and 
       accompanying accessories
